When you navigate to this form you will be presented with the details of your next shift in which you can book on or check in. The 'Check In' option will be primarily used by lone workers.
You can only book on or off your shift within the permitted margins. This means that you you will only be able to 'Book On' within 15 minutes before your shift starts or 'Book Off' up to 15 minutes after your shift ends.
These margins and related parameters can be customized by your system administrators.
Should you or your staff be too early or too late for booking on /off your shifts, the system would refuse your request. This has been implemented by design so that you are required to call in to inform your management . With the 'eZworkforce' system your manager or the administrators have the ability to book you on or off should the margins be breached.
More importantly this allows any problems to be recorded in the first instance allowing management to plan ahead.
